The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) is holding a Vendor/Contractor Open House on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 10:00 a.m until 11:30 a.m. at the Hammond Sportsplex and Community Center at 6630 Indianapolis Blvd. in Hammond, Indiana.
NICTD will present information regarding upcoming contracting opportunities as well as tips on how to find and respond to these opportunities and Disenfranchised Business Enterprise (DBE) goals. NICTD’s procurement and project management team will be in attendance. NICTD will discuss the upcoming West Lake Corridor Project, Double Track Northwest Indiana Project, and other upcoming South Shore Line capital projects.

For the West Lake Corridor Project, NICTD has formally published a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for potential Design-Build firms. NICTD is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualification (“SOQs”) from interested qualified firms, joint ventures, partnerships, or corporations to provide these Design-Build services.
