As part of an effort to encourage young people to make choice promoting healthy lifestyles, NorthShore Health Center recently donated $900 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s South Haven and Portage Units.
Staff from NorthShore Health Center recently toured the Club facilities and learned about programs offered to Club members who focus on developing healthy lifestyles, such as Triple Play, SPARK and cooking classes.
“We’re really happy we have such a great community partner in North Shore Health Center,” said Steve Letic, Portage Unit Director. “Their donation will help us continue to provide healthy lifestyle education and activities to our Club members, and we look forward to working together in the future.”
