Rapid Heartbeat. Fluttering in your chest. These could be symptoms of atrial fibrillation, or Afib - a common, but dangerous, heart rhythm disorder that can lead to blood clots in the heart and increase your risk of stroke and heart failure. 

Join Cardiac Electrophysiologist Jamario Skeete, M.D. to learn how Afib is diagnosed and the new medical treatments available at Northwest Health. The seminar, which is open to the public, is on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at in the Pine Lake Conference Room at Northwest Health – La Porte. 

There will be time for questions and answers following the presentation. A free blood pressure screening will be available before and after the seminar.
