Opportunity Enterprises Family and Friends Together Meeting March 15

If you or someone you love has a disability and would like to learn more about housing or respite care in Northwest Indiana, please attend the OE Family and Friends Together meeting, Monday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m.opportunity-enterprises Jennifer Fraley, Supported Living Manager, and Joshua Bougie, Respite Manager, both of Opportunity Enterprises, will be giving a presentation on how to secure funding for both residential and respite programming, professionals that can assist with the process, the intricacies of the system, and the experiences of our clientele already receiving services. Those interested in attending the meeting are asked to enter Opportunity Enterprises, 2801 Evans Avenue in Valparaiso, at the Training Room, Entrance #2, at the north end of the building. The meeting is open to the public; no reservations required.

The Family and Friends Together meetings are part of an Opportunity Enterprises initiative, Family and Consumer Supports. The program provides support for parents, siblings, guardians and friends of consumers, as well as an outlet to be actively engaged with loved ones. It was created by Opportunity Enterprises as it prepares for the increasing number of challenged individuals seeking services as they transition into new programs, the community or the workforce. The objective of this program is to better serve current and potential OE consumer families by sharing resources, information and volunteer opportunities.
