PNC Non-Credit Texas Hold’em Poker Course

Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing Education will offer a non-credit course in Texas Hold'em poker 2,  intermediate level course.  "Texas Hold'em Poker" will meet at PNC - Porter County, 600 Vale Park Road, Valparaiso, on Thursdays, Oct. 1 to 22 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. 

Led by a professional poker coach, this follow-up course deals with cash games and focuses on the mathematics of poker such as hand ranges, winning percentage based on those ranges, pot odds as well as differences in live and online play. Participants will also learn about tournament structure strategies. The course will help to make players more comfortable playing in cash games and tournaments and will give a better understanding of poker terminology, hand reading, betting patterns and bankroll management.

The registration fee is $99. Space is limited.
