Porter County Business League Contributes $500 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County to Support Its “Teen Enterprise” Program

BGC-logo-newThe Porter County Business League recently contributed $500.00 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County to support its “Teen Enterprise” program. Teen members who participate in “Teen Enterprise” develop small business management skills through operating the Clubs’ concession stands during athletic league games. Teens are responsible for all aspects of the concession stand including budgeting, inventory management and staffing. “Teen Enterprise” is offered at the Valparaiso, Portage and South Haven club locations.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been serving youth since 1971. The Clubs provide high quality programs for more than 5,000 boys and girls in the areas of character and leadership development, educational enhancement, career preparation, health and life skills, the arts and sports, fitness and recreation.
