Wallace's new role as Breast Patient Navigator is multi-faceted and will vary from patient to patient, depending on individual circumstances and needs. As navigator, she will establish close relationships with people who have a variety of issues, from those who are simply worried about their breast health, to those with benign breast disease, to those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. According to Wallace, with the CBPN as their "go to" person, patients feel secure that their care is well coordinated and that they will be well-prepared for the next steps in their care.

"The most important thing for our patients is to help them gain valuable information about treatment and to access resources that can help them through their journey.
