Powers Health and Northwest Cancer Centers are pleased to announce their collaboration in a new, state-of-the art cancer center in Crown Point. The Cancer Care Center, slated to open in summer 2025, will serve as a regional destination and convenient location for patients with cancer to receive exceptional care.
The 71,000 square-foot cancer center at 10191 Broadway, will be a landmark for oncology care in Northwest Indiana offering services under one roof. Services will include cancer-focused physical therapy; advanced testing and diagnostic services, including PET CT imaging; medical oncology; infusion therapy; and radiation therapy, including a linear accelerator to treat tumors with pinpoint accuracy.
“This comprehensive facility is an extension of the advanced care patients expect from Powers Health,” said Donald P. Fesko, President and CEO of Powers Health. “Northwest Indiana residents have convenient access to world-class, personal treatment just minutes away from their homes.”
“We look forward to this expanded collaboration with Powers Health,” said Mohamad Kassar, MD, President and CEO of Northwest Cancer Centers (NCC). “The physicians of NCC are very proud to be the first and only physicians in this area to offer phase I clinical trials to their patients. Together, we offer decades of trusted experience with a shared commitment to elevate and transform cancer care to our patients.”
The cancer program will provide patient-centered care, clinical trials, genetic counseling and nurse navigation. A healing garden also will be located on the campus.
This center will show our dedication to our patients and their families by proving advanced cancer care close to home.
