All babies are born with a set of movements (reflexes) designed to help them interact with their caregivers and the world. As babies develop, these movements will help them learn to move and interact on purpose. During the class, parents will be educated on:
-What are these movement patterns?
-When will they disappear?
-How can they impact development?
-Ways to play with your baby to assist with reflex pattern development.
-How your child's vision progresses through the early months.
-Using visual engagement to assist with babies meeting their milestones.
An occupational therapist will be available to discuss reflex patterns and vision development as babies learn to see the world around them.
Parents are asked to bring small blanket for their child to lay on. Class size is limited. Classes offered monthly.
