“Pulaski County excels when it comes to attracting visitors,” Nathan Origer, executive director of the Pulaski County Community Development Commission, said. “Our tourism is heavily oriented towards the outdoors, and we draw people from the Region, across the state, and even Chicagoland.”

Tippecanoe River State Park
Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, March 30
Come help Smokey the Bear celebrate Easter at Tippecanoe River State Park’s sixth annual Easter egg hunt! Be sure to participate in games and crafts before the egg-hunting fun begins. Learn more information about this event here.
Free Fishing Day – Saturday, June 1
Calling all fishing enthusiasts! Head over to the Winamac Fish and Wildlife Area West Pond for a relaxing free fishing day. Learn how to tie a fishing knot and how to clean the fish you catch. Are you in the Christmas spirit, but can’t wait until December to celebrate? Not to worry, Tippecanoe River State Park has got you covered! Tippy Tri-Challenge – Saturday, July 20
Do you have what it takes to complete the Tippy Tri-Challenge? This triathlon features a 1-mile hike/run followed by a 4-mile bike ride and a 3-mile kayak/canoe ride along the Tippecanoe River. Winamac Aeromodelers
Jets Over the Heartland 2024 – Wednesday June 19 - Sunday June 30
Come out to the Winamac Aeromodelers Club for this annual high-flying event! Bring your remote-controlled model jet planes to the club’s 50 x 800 foot runway and take to the skies alongside your fellow pilots. Be sure to stop by the pilot dinner on Saturday! Outta Site Aerotow – Wednesday August 14 - Sunday August 18

Francesville Fall Festival
Francesville Fall Festival – Friday September 20 - Sunday September 22
Come help residents of Francesville – “A Small Town with a Big Heart” – celebrate the 56th annual Francesville Fall Festival! Attendees of all ages can enjoy a wide range of activities including carnival rides, a petting zoo, a baking contest and silent auction, a car show, and, of course, the parade! Northern Indiana Power From the Past – Thursday July 18 - Sunday July 21
Celebrate our state’s rich agricultural history at Winamac’s 47th annual Northern Indiana Power From the Past event! Learn how antique farming equipment worked by seeing these machines in action at one of the many working displays. You can also choose from an jam-packed lineup of activities which includes a quilt show, several live musical performances, a skillet toss, and even a historical working village! Friends of the Panhandle Pathway
Moonlight Over the Tippy 2024 – Friday, June 7
Grab your bicycle and get ready to enjoy a moonlit ride along the Panhandle Pathway Trail! Participants of all ages are invited to bike this historic trail from Winamac to Thornhope and back, a round trip of 20 miles. The Winamac Corner Deli will provide the cyclists with a meal of delicious pulled pork sandwiches upon their return! Click here to learn how to register for this event.
