Kinder lernen Deutsch is a German language program for children in grades 2-4, held on Monday afternoons at the Kade-Duesenberg German House and Cultural Center on the campus of Valparaiso University. Both beginners and children with prior German exposure are welcome.
Participants get a simple introduction to German language and culture through fun activities, games, and songs. Kinder lernen Deutsch will be taught this year by Valparaiso University students of German and an exchange student from Germany, under the supervision of Dr. Timothy Malchow, Professor of German and Director of the Kade-Duesenberg German House and Cultural Center.
Classes take place 4-5 p.m. on Mondays, beginning September 25, 2023 and running through February 2024. The cost for the full program is $75.
