The entire school decided to "adopt' the Carmelite Home for Children in East Chicago. The home, located in East Chicago, Indiana provides a safe place for children in crisis from birth to age 18.

Not only did the students bring in toys and gifts for the needy children, they also supplied the home with everyday essentials such as soap, towels, sheets, and blankets. "I am so happy that I can help kids who don't have a lot of things," said kindergartner Ivory Campbell. "It was like being one of Santa's helpers," added kindergartner Ashka Patel. This Christmas season, the Saint Paul Panthers are showing all that living is truly giving.
