Spring Break at Sunset Hill Farm

Hikes and camps perfect for kids looking for fun
Porter County Parks and Recreation and Parents as Teachers of Porter County are offereing programs for kids that want to get out and get active during their spring break at the end of March.

Spring Break Spring Fever Hikes
Hikes will take place from Monday, March 26, to Friday, March 30, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Sunset Hill Farm County Park. This program is ideal for kids in grades 2 to 7. No matter the weather - rain, snow or shine - we will be hiking the trails at Sunset Hill Farm County Park! The cost of this program is $2 per hiker. Springtime on the Farm
Parents as Teachers Porter County will also host a camp called Springtime on the Farm during spring break. This camp is perfect for preschoolers. Campers will get a chance to learn about the goats and chickens at Sunset Hill Farm and help take care of them. Kids will also plant crops and learn about how a farm works. The cost of this camp is $45. It will take place Monday, March 26, through Thursday, March 29, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The camp is offered by Parents as Teachers of Porter County.
