ValpoLife.com is filled with many different pieces of interesting, engaging and positive coverage. The IT Life Video
The Bargain Barn has provided the ValpoLife staff with “G” the giraffe, leading the staff members to create an entertaining and funny video. Virgil Sweet Coverage
Valparaiso High School basketball coaching legend Virgil Sweet was recently honored by his former school in a halftime ceremony during the Vikings battle with Chesterton. Not only does ValpoLife have a great article describing Virgil Sweet Night and a full photo gallery from that evening’s game, but there is also a three part video interview series with Sweet. Sweet talked about past players, VHS coaches and families and his funniest memories.
Top 10 Entertainment Articles of 2011
With the calendar year coming to a close, ValpoLife has taken the opportunity to look back at some of the top stories from each section this year. Over 940 articles were posted in the entertainment section in 2011, ten of which were spotlighted in the Top 10 ValpoLife Entertainment Articles of 2011! During my recent search of ValpoLife I enjoyed reading over the contributors list for several reasons. It was neat to see how many people have contributed, and I also found it interesting searching for people I know on the list and then clicking on their names to read the articles that they wrote. Ron Santo in the Hall of Fame: Better Late than Never
ValpoLife’s Brett Fuller recently reacted to the news that the late Ron Santo, who played third base for the Cubs 14 seasons before a 20 year stint in the radio broadcast booth, was finally elected to the Hall of Fame, a year after his death. St. Paul’s Classes Spread Holiday Cheer
One of the joys of the holiday season is seeing people of all ages give back to their communities.
