Laborers help maintain all park property, including but not limited to grounds, buildings, structures, ice rink, splash pad, vehicles and tools/equipment.
Laborers supervise part-time and seasonal maintenance staff; perform grounds maintenance, including landscaping, mowing, weeding, trimming, ice rink maintenance, snow and trash removal; complete basic building maintenance and repair; and help coordinate event set-up, clean-up and management.
Desired minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to lead by example with a strong service orientation.
Ability to operate power tools/equipment and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Valid Indiana driver’s license. CDL not required but preferred.
Valid server permit and training.
