Whereas Winamac Fish and Wildlife Area has tremendous potential for hunting deer, wild turkey, rabbit, quail, squirrel, woodcock, dove, and pheasant. They even have a two-acre pond housing bluegill, channel catfish, and largemouth bass. The Jasper-Pulaski Fish and Wildlife Area is home to shoreline fishing, two gravel boat ramps, and numerous small ponds. Deer, quail, rabbit, squirrel, snipe, dove, sora rails, woodcock, waterfowl and wild turkey all inhabit the area, challenging mature marksmen and first-timers alike.
Or perhaps you’d like to test yourself against your fellow man. Over at Fort Knox Paintball, you can test your mettle on 13 different themed battlefields, including a brand new zombie-themed field. If paintball isn’t your game, but you still need to satisfy your competitive itch, then look no further than Moss Creek Golf Course. They offer 18 holes of pure golfing bliss. Just west of US-35, you can find Pond View Golf Course which offers a practice facility and PGA lessons!
Pulaski County is home to some of the state's most beautiful parks. Tippecanoe River State Park has countless activities and over 2500 acres to explore along the Tippecanoe River. They even have areas for camping! Then, at Winamac Town Park, covering around 40 acres, there are things to do for the whole family. You can find a walking trail, playground equipment, a basketball court, volleyball court, and even tennis courts. A large portion of the park is home to the 4-H Fairgrounds which hosts the annual county fair and the Northern Indiana Power for the Past Antique Engine and Tractor Show.
Speaking of events, you’ll never be bored in Pulaski County. There are numerous festivals and community events to fill your calendar with. The Francesville Fall Festival is held every year to celebrate “the small town with the big heart."
