Thomas Jefferson Middle School held their annual Geography Bee. 17 contestants from grades 6-8 competed. 7th Grader Carter Walworth(L) is the Champion and will represent our school when he tries to qualify for the State National Geographic Bee later this month,7th Grader Andrew Karr (R) was the runner-up. Each year thousands of schools in the United States participate in the National Geographic Bee using materials prepared by the National Geographic Society. The contest is designed to motivate students to learn about the world and how it works. Schools with students in grades four through eight are eligible for this entertaining and challenging competition.
