Twosday celebrations at Parkview Elementary School

The second graders at Parkview Elementary in Valparaiso celebrated Twosday on 2-22-22.  This was a very special and exciting day for them.  The day was full of fun learning opportunities and activities with the numbers 2 and 22, pairs, and much more.  Many students shared that their favorite activity was playing a game to identify each picture of their classmate from when they were all 2 years old.  They also loved making their capes and crowns and wearing their special shirts that said “I was in Second Grade on Twosday 2-22-22!”  Other fun activities included two minute challenges, identifying famous pairs, working with homophones, and counting their two point baskets.  One memorable activity was making a time capsule that the students will open on 3-3-33 (the year after they graduate from high school).  Towards the end of the day the students participated in a 2 minute dance party at 2:22, and they enjoyed a candy taco for Taco Twosday.  This was definitely a memorable day for the second graders at Parkview!
