U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona will visit Ivy Tech Community College’s Valparaiso campus on Wednesday, September 4, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. CDT, the U.S. Department of Education has confirmed. During the visit, Sec. Cardona will tour the campus and participate in a roundtable conversation on academic recovery with Ivy Tech students.
“It’s a wonderful honor for Ivy Tech to welcome Secretary Cardona to Valparaiso and the Hoosier State. Dr. Cardona’s visit presents us with an amazing opportunity to showcase our innovative programs, dedicated faculty and the incredible impact our students are having on their local communities,” said Ivy Tech Valparaiso Chancellor Aco Sikoski.
