"United for Change" is the NWI United FC charitable outreach program. For Spring 2013, NWI United FC has selected Chasing Dreams, Inc.
Chasing Dreams is a newer Valparaiso, IN-based organization with the goal of enhancing the lives of children with Down Syndrome and their families by providing a place for interaction and various programs that educate and develop an understanding of self esteem, physical and social skills necessary for a meaningful life.
The teams compete to see who can raise the most money per team member (total amount collected divided by the number of team members). The team that raises the most money with have a social event at Chasing Dreams during the month of June 2013 and will make the formal donation on behalf of the club.
