The Valparaiso Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County, located at 354 Jefferson St., will be holding registration for their Spring Instructional Basketball program. The basketball program, emphasizing fun and instruction, is for boys and girls ages 5-13, who are in grades K-8. 
The registration dates and times will be limited to the following (or until leagues fill, whichever is first):
February 16th- March 5th
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 2-7 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
No Signups Saturday or Sunday
All players must be members of the Club, which is only $25 per child for a full year's membership.
The fees for the basketball program are:
5/7 year old division: $15
8/9 & 10/11 year old divisions: $25
12/13 year old divisions: $30
Financial assistance is available for membership and league fees to those who qualify. There are a limited number of available spots in each division. The 5/7 age group will be co-ed unless there are enough girls for separate boys & girls divisions. The 8/9 & 10/11 age groups have separate divisions for boys and girls and the 12/13 age group is co-ed. Practices will start the week of March 29th with first games played the week of April 5th.
