Valparaiso University invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the broader community to take part in Valpo Day on Tuesday, April 9, 2025. In partnership with the Times of Northwest Indiana, Valpo Day is a spirited celebration of the University’s mission, bringing together supporters through a day of activities, friendly competition, and philanthropy.
As the University’s largest fundraising event of the year, Valpo Day highlights what it means to be a beacon of light in the community and a champion of the University’s legacy. This year, Valpo aims to surpass previous giving totals to support its students, programs, and initiatives and engage with alumni, friends, and community members to highlight to celebrate Valpo’s mission.
How to Celebrate Valpo Day
Valparaiso University encourages community members to take part in the celebration in several ways:
- Make a gift to support the University’s many programs.
- Share your Valpo memories on social media using #ProudToBeValpo.
- Visit local businesses offering special Valpo Day promotions.
- Come to campus for fun activities on the West Lawn outside the Harre Union beginning at 12 p.m. CDT.
