The Valpo Americans 10/11 year old All Star team defeated Merrillville 13-1 on Saturday July 11th to win the Indiana District 1 Little League Championship held at Lakes of the Four Seasons. Valpo went 3-0 to win the title and advance to the state tournament in Seymour July 21st-26th.
