Baseball and Softball skills clinics will take place in January. Coaches and players from the Valparaiso High School baseball and softball teams will instruct the one hour and fifteen minute Sunday sessions on January 15, 22 and 29. Each session reinforces the fundamentals of the game. Baseball meets 4:30 -5:45 PM and is for ages 7 to 12 and softball meets 6:00-7:15 PM for ages 5 to 12. Ages are as of May 1, 2017. Price is $25/$37 depending on residency. Register for the corresponding Valpo Parks 2017 sports program at that same time, and the cost is only $5. Registration ends January 11.
Youth Soccer Skill Clinics will be offered in segments for ages 3 to 6 years and 7 to 12 years as of May 1, 2017. Valparaiso University Soccer team members will instruct the one-hour clinics on Sundays, February 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM (3 to 6 year olds) and 5:30 to 6:30 PM (7 to 12 year olds).
