Valpo Parks to Host Velocity Bike Share Expansion Ribbon Cutting

The City of Valparaiso and Valpo Parks invites community members to a ribbon cutting for the expansion of the Valpo Velocity Bike Share program on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the new bike station located on Cumberland Crossing Drive near the Valparaiso YMCA.

The Valparaiso Redevelopment Commission launched Valpo Velocity, powered by Zagster, a bike share program, in 2017 and has provided Valparaiso residents and visitors with a convenient, affordable and healthy way to get around town. In addition to the Cumberland Crossing station a second bike station was installed at Foundation Meadows Park and will offer a great connection to areas such as the YMCA, Vale Park West Pathway, and Rogers-Lakewood Park.

Valpo Parks invites all community members to the ribbon cutting for an opportunity to test out a bike and learn more about the Valpo Velocity program.
