In honor of Martin Luther King Day, the City of Valparaiso will host a drive-through food drive on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Butterfield Pavilion, 600 Evans Ave., from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. “In the spirit of Martin Luther King’s legacy, we invite the community to come together to stock the Hilltop food pantry to support families throughout Valparaiso,” said Mayor Jon Costas.
Donations should be bagged or boxed so volunteers can unload the contributions. Suggested donations include non-perishable pantry items, such as peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce and noodles, etc. For a list of suggested items, visit HilltopHouse.org/Wish-list/
