The Valparaiso High School girls' tennis team defeated St. Joseph High School 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon in a match at Valparaiso High School.
In singles action, the Vikings' Caitlin Kennedy (6-4, 6-1) and Rachel Willing (7-5, 6-2) made quick work of their opponents while freshman Madisen Kammerer fell 0-6, 0-6.
The doubles duo of Brooke Sever and Rachel Crookston won 7-6 (5), 7-5 while Ava Meyer and Kate Spencer won 7-6 (5), 6-4.
