The Valparaiso High School boys golf team hosted the Crown Point Bulldogs and the Portage Indians on Thursday at Forest Park Golf Course, coming away with a 148-159-163 victory.
The win, which brought the Vikings’ record to 9-1 (5-1 DAC), was highlighted by Bobby Jacobs’ one-under-par 35, followed by Andrew Gariup and Patrick Andrie tying for second, each shooting a 37. Logan Bertalan tied for sixth with a 39, followed by Kyle Meihofer’s 42.
The meet marks the last home meet for the Vikings until May 17th, when they host Duneland Athletic Conference foe Michigan City.
