FROM THE PRINCIPAL....
Dear Parents, Students, & Staff,
What do Flash Mobs (those choreographed musical numbers which take place in public areas) and a Paradox (seemingly contradictory elements in a story) have to do with Christmas? Well, for the answer to that you'll have to go to YouTube. I selected two video clips that I think will put you in the Christmas Spirit. The first clip can be found at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp_RHnQ-jgU or type in (Macy's flash" in the Search window) and shows about 100 people "spontaneously" break into the Hallelujah Chorus at a Macy's store in Philadelphia - inspirational! The second clip can be found at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH7VLXOryCK (or type in "Paradox Christmas" in Search window) and presents some interesting "contradictory" facts about the first Christmas. I hope you enjoy these clips and have a Merry Christmas!
Sincerely, Mr. Rik Ihssen

CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON
This year's Christmas Luncheon on the last day of school before Christmas break was a huge success, selling out during every time period. Students dressed in the Christmas best for the day and enjoyed eating lunch with their special guests. The ate turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, rolls and spiced cake for dessert. The gym was decorated and the lights were lowered for this special lunch. After the conclusion of the lunch the students returned to class then finished the day with their classroom parties.
Mrs. Miller's 3rd Grade class donned their matching Christmas hats, which has become a yearly tradition for her students.
