Congratulations to the 8th grade Volleyball team in their victory against St. Mary's, Griffith. The girls, down by 8 in the first set, rallied to a 25-22 win due to the serves of Emma Runnion, Natalie Dowdy and Lauren Moberley.
Sarah Sim, Alexis Stone, and Katie Sherman played tough in that first set, covering the court and refusing to let the ball touch the floor.
The second set, won by St. Paul 25-17, saw several aces by Grace Cobble, Princess Anjorin and Natalie Dowdy.
There were many volleys with great passes by Lily Quint, Katie Sherman, and Caroline Bonczyk for some "light out" hitting by Emma Runnion and Lauren Moberley.
