YMCA Benefit Concert to Feature Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers

Stephen-Kellogg-and-the-SixersThe Valparaiso Family YMCA is pleased to announce that Imagine Music Productions is presenting a benefit concert featuring rock and roll band Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers on Tuesday, October 25, at Memorial Opera House. The concert will begin at 7:30 pm. Imagine Music has hosted a benefit concert in the past, and this year, the Valparaiso Family YMCA will be the benefactor of concert proceeds.

Massachusetts rockers Stephen Kellogg, Kit “Goose” Karlson, Brian “Boots” Factor and Sam “Steamer” Getz are embarking this fall on a North American headline tour. In addition to Valparaiso, stops include Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

We are fortunate to bring Stephen and his band to Valparaiso,” said promoter Brad Koeppen of Imagine Music Productions. ”Just ten years into his career, he is becoming a legend in his own right, sharing his music with fans across the country. We are also pleased to direct concert proceeds to the Valparaiso Family YMCA, knowing it will further advance the Y’s mission in our community.”

The Sixers’ tour schedule coincides with the October release of their second album “Gift Horse.” The music of SK6ERS, as loyal fans refer to them, brings the rich legacy of rock & roll into the present tense with real-life narratives about love, family, and what it means to be an American today.

The Valparaiso Family YMCA thanks Porter Health System for sponsoring the band for this benefit concert; as well as the following venue sponsors: Anderson Insurance, Thorgren Tool and Molding, and Vale Park Animal Hospital. Sponsorships enable the Y to make a meaningful, enduring impact right in our own community.

Tickets are available at the Memorial Opera House, by phone at 548-9137, or online at tickets.mohlive.com.
