Community Healthcare System and Gabis Arboretum host Walk and Talk with an Orthopedic Surgeon

Take steps toward a healthy back at an upcoming walk-and-talk event, hosted by Community Healthcare System and Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest.

The next Walk and Talk steps off at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 with Venkat Kavuri, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon with Community Care Network. He will offer tips to “walk this way to a healthy back.”

Walk your way toward wellness as you stroll through the beautiful grounds of Gabis Arboretum as a Community Healthcare System physician offers health-related knowledge to walkers of all ages.

Attendees will meet at the Celebration Rose Pavilion and walk to the arboretum’s wetland. Golf cart transportation will be available for those who choose not to walk. Program participation is free and registration is encouraged. Arboretum admission fees will be waived for those participating in the walk.
