Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Virtual Info Meeting

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Virtual Info Meeting

Event Information

4:54am - 4:54am

Learn about how you can become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer in Porter County and make a difference in a child's life in our upcoming Virtual Info Meeting!

A CASA is a caring and dedicated community volunteer who is trained to advocate for children who have been abused and neglected and are involved in the court system by no fault of their own. CASA volunteers ensure that attention is paid to the child's needs and best interests. Find out about the role of Court Appointed Special Advocates, why they are needed, and what requirements and training are involved in becoming a volunteer.  The need for CASAs speaking up for children in the court process has never been more vital than in these times.  Interested potential volunteers can receive the Zoom link by emailing casainfo@fysb.org or calling 219-464-9585.
