Monday, July 4th Downtown Valparaiso Need to burn some calories before heading to your afternoon barbecue on Independence Day? Join Valpo Parks for one of our annual 4th of July runs! Whether you're a competitive runner or someone who likes to go out for a stroll, we have the perfect run for you.
5k Blast
This competitive 5K run will start and end in Downtown Valparaiso near Central Park Plaza and will be timed by T&H Timing. Overall and Age Group Awards will be awarded, and each participant will receive a T-shirt.

2k Lit'l Firecracker
Perfect for families and younger participants! The fun run/walk will start and finish at the starting line of the 5K and will begin at 9:10 AM. This is a non-competitive event that will not be timed. Each participant will receive a finisher medal and T-shirt!
