Methodist Hospitals thanks staff with a Holiday Meal 2023

Methodist Hospitals hosted a Holiday Meals event at its Southlake campus on Tuesday, December 12 where staff leaders served their fellow co-workers as a way of saying “thank you” for their hard work and to celebrate the holiday season. Methodists Hospitals will additionally provide meals for its Northlake Hospital and offsite locations on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. In total, Methodist Hospitals will proudly provide around 1,800 meals this holiday season.

“We plan a holiday party every year,” said Amy Grzyb, food service director at Methodist Hospitals. “It is to recognize the employees around the holidays and thank them for all that they do all year long.”

With cheesecake, sliced beef, and so much more, it was a great time for coworkers to indulge in seasonal joy while being recognized for their contributions. It means a lot to the staff that Methodist Hospitals acknowledges all the hard work they do year-round.

“It means a lot that we have been recognized,” said Leonard Montgomery, engineer at Methodist Hospitals. “It is good to have some type of recognition, so that is awesome.”
