United Way of Northwest Indiana Meet and Greet

In October 2021, United Way of Porter County and Lake Area United Way established a merger forming United Way of Northwest Indiana. The combination of the two organizations called for new leadership as well, and in March 2022, United Way welcomed Adam O’Doherty as its inaugural president and CEO.
To help acclimate O’Doherty to his new community, United Way hosted a meet and greet event at Asparagus restaurant in Merrillville. The meetup allowed United Way staff, local business owners, and other community members to meet the new CEO and discuss future plans for the community.
