Keeping citizens safe is the job, duty, and pride of the Porter County Sheriff's Department. And to honor those that have fallen in the line of duty, the Porter County Sheriff's Department held a memorial service. The service helps signify the purpose of the department and the sheriff, and appreciate those alive, retired, and passed. Joined by supporters, advocates, and political and religious leaders, law enforcement officers of Porter County were embraced with positivity and gratitude for the dedication and commitment they show in their everyday work.
