Community Healthcare System recently welcomed five doctors to the Community Care Network, Inc. (CCNI) team of physicians. Specialties these physician providers represent include allergy and immunology, anesthesia, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry and radiation oncology. CCNI physicians are closely affiliated with Community Healthcare System’s hospitals: Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart and specialty hospital, Community Stroke & Rehabilitation Center in Crown Point.
Community Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center announce the addition of Community Care Network Pain Management and Anesthesiologist specialist Shawn Kumar, MD, to their staff. He completed a fellowship in interventional pain management and served an anesthesiology residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
