The Field Station Cooperative Preschool is hosting the Field Station Frenzy 5K Run/Walk/Children's Fun Runs on Sunday, June 5th at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton. The 5K is chip timed and a Calumet Striders Gold Cup Series Race.
This scenic trail setting is a great place for runners of all ages. A Kiddie Coral will be provided for childcare throughout the event. All proceeds from this event go to support the Field Station Cooperative Preschool. Their non-profit program is centered on nature study and seeks to develop in all of its students a love of learning, critical and independent thinking, creativity and imagination, social skills, and improved self confidence and self esteem.
