Congratulations goes out to the Valparaiso Cheer Team and Vikettes for their performances at the Hoosier Open Cheer and Dance Competition at Portage High School on Sunday, February 24th. The Vikettes placed First in the High School Dance Division, and the Cheerleaders placed Second in the Varsity Co-ed Division.
The Cheerleaders also won the Spirit trophy. Maddisen Brennecke won the Dance scholarship, and Caitlyn Gear won the Cheerleading scholarship. Devin Roach placed first in the individual cheer division. Caitlyn Gear and Graham Pevar also placed third in the Partner Co-ed Stunt division.
