Well, its been a long and great year, hasn't it? And not to be cliche but I think its time to look back and reflect on the tragedy and triumphs of the last year...or better yet, why not take a look at my favorite videos from ValpoLife and favorite videos from YouTube! Videos that will surely put a smile on your face.
First, lets take a look at my personal favorite videos from ValpoLife in 2009!
5. James Tudor Sings The Classics
Our friend James Tudor stopped by to do an interview for his featured profile and when he was done he delighted us with a couple songs that make me crack up. If you don't know James, you should get to know him because he's a great guy and had us laughing the entire time we were taping this.
4. VHS vs Lake Central Soccer Game
This was my first video that I edited for VL and even though it was only back in September, it feels like so long ago that it was fall and it just has a nostalgic feel to it every time I watch it. Plus, its high paced soccer action! What's not to love?
I think I love this video most for the story Stewart tells and how he runs Task Force Tips. He started from building hose nozzles in his basement for his dad's business and is now the head of a multinational corporation. Its just a great story.
2. Calvary Men's Ballet Troupe
Calvary church submitted this video to us and there's just something about a bunch of guys do a surprisingly well orchestrated dance in pink tutus at a church that will always make me laugh. 1. The VU Basketball Men's Dance at Hoops Mania
The video speaks for itself but the basketball team had a whole big orchestrated dance they did and as I'm thinking about it...apparently I really like coordinated dances.

5. Keyboard Cat
A cat...playing a keyboard...need I say more?
Jason Steele, creator of the series, is kind of brilliant in my mind to be able to put three unicorns in a video and come out with something so charming and funny.
This video simply reminded me that weddings can be fun and inspired the writers of the TV show The Office to use it in an episode..
This is a little clip from one of my favorite shows that was launched as a promo for the upcoming season.

Beware, soon cats will take over the world!
So what did we learn today? We learned that two of my favorite things are videos of people dancing and uncomfortable (but cute) cats. I guess I'm more predictable than I thought.
