The 8th grade football team clobbered Kesling 27-0 yesterday. Angelo Madrigal led the ground attack with 72 yards and a touchdown. Trent Fortson contributed 56 yards and 2 touchdowns, the second one on a pass from Andrew Sykes. Taylor Scheidenberger added 27 yards and a score. Justin Osburn and Jacob Woodward also contributed to the BF ground attack. Caleb Dawson added 3 extra points to the scoring.
BF was 3 for 3 in the air, with Sykes hitting Fortson twice and Michael Rastovic connecting with Dawson for the other. Leading the defense in tackles were Caleb Dawson and Angelo Madrigal with 6 each. Michael Krutz and Taylor Bezotte added 5 tackles. Kesling fumbles were recovered by Bezotte and Nick Greco. Congratulations on a good start to the season.
