Chris Mahlmann joined Tavis Buchan on The Lakeshore 89.1 FM’s Lakeshore Drive program for his weekly segment to dish about the latest happenings in Northwest Indiana and beyond. The program, Lakeshore Drive runs Monday through Friday from 4:00pm until 5:30pm, highlighting some of the bigger issues affecting Northwest Indiana.

0:00 - 2:10: Region Tweets! The NSA Softball tournament is taking place throughout Northwest Indiana, with nearly 10,000 people converging in downtown Valparaiso on Monday evening. People are also talking about the storms that have been pounding the region this week, causing many to lose power.
2:11 - 3:23: The ValpoLife.com team was well represented at the Mudathlon with the team comprising about 40 of the 2,500+ people who participated from all over the country.
3:24 - 4:38: The Porter County Fair is also going on this week, with a huge kickoff with the Luke Bryan concert, continuing with Hot Chelle Rae, and continuing through Saturday.
4:39 - 7:15: The Good Life Awards were a blast and we had a really good turnout. The awards were a custom-designed steel trophy and were given to Jon Groth, Ivan Bodensteiner, Cathy Brown, Olga Velazquez, and Jonathan Nalli because they were supporting "good" in Northwest Indiana.
