Summer Soccer Camps
June 15 - June 19 & June 22 - June 26. Ages 5-14. Having made the decision to cancel the Valpo Parks Spring Soccer League, we wanted to give our young athletes an alternative to still enjoy the sport with friends. Our 5 day camps will be taught by the Valparaiso High School Varsity Teams and each camper will receive a shirt and soccer ball to use for their daily drills. Click here to register.
Tower Park Basketball Camp
June 13 - July 25. 3rd to 5th grade. Who is ready to shoot some hoops?! Valpo Parks is taking to Tower Park courts to help your 3rd to 5th graders perfect their skills. Coach Steve Helm will bring his extensive experience of coaching all levels of basketball to this Saturday morning co-ed youth camp. Registration deadline is June 12th! Click here to register.
Biff Geiss Rookie Baseball League
June 14 - September 30. Ages 7-8. PLAY BALL! Valpo Parks is excited to announce the combining of our Summer and Fall Rookie Leagues into one large season of 15-18 games. Practices will start the week of June 14th and games to begin the week of July 6th. Registration deadline is June 12th! Click here to register.
LaCrosse Clinic
June 20 - August 1. Ages 5-13. Valpo Parks is excited to continue teaching the sport of lacrosse to the community while building a solid foundation and positive atmosphere for youth to learn and develop their skills and love for the sport of lacrosse. Focus will be on fundamentals, and introduce participants to team concepts and game situations. Lacrosse sticks will be provided. Registration deadline is June 19th! Click here to register.
Track & Field
July 1 - July 25. Ages 4-12. Participants will compete against other park departments and YMCA's in the area. Practices are on Wednesdays and meets are on Saturdays. Season consists of 4 track meets that will be at Valparaiso High School and other local high schools. Registration deadline is June 19th! Click here to register.
Group Tennis Lessons
July 1 - July 31. Ages 4-16. An exciting and fun program that introduces children to the basics of tennis. Modified equipment is used to bring the game to the level of the players. Classes run Monday through Thursday with Fridays used as make up days for rain-outs. Registration deadline is June 19th! Click here to register.
Tennis Summer Sampler
July 6 - July 8. Ages 4-16. This class is designed to give kids a preview of our summer sessions. Participants will learn the fundamentals of tennis through drills and games from our tennis instructors. All participants will receive a FREE tennis racket. Registration deadline is July 1st! Summer Camp
