Lakeshore Drive Radio – IIM Media Publisher on 89.1 FM Dec 14 Talking Indiana Social Media, Holiday Events, and Notable Region Personalities

On Wednesday, Ideas in Motion Media Publisher Chris Mahlmann joined Tavis Buchan on The Lakeshore 89.1 FM’s “Lakeshore Drive” program, which runs Monday through Friday from 4:00pm - 5:30pm, to talk about the Life websites, Northwest Indiana, and partnering with several groups in the region.

This week Chris talked about Northwest Indiana's social media presence, the Indiana Social Media Summit coming up in Fort Wayne at the end of this year, contributing local news to media outlets like LakeShore TV and Radio as well the Life sites, shopping local whether that is the locally owned or staffed and managed chain location or the mom and pop down the street, and the litany of great events coming up this holiday season.

Holiday events like "A Christmas Story" at the South Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Santa coming for photos and donuts at County Line Orchard are among the fun options, as well as a broad array of Christmas themed events at places of worship throughout the region.

Fun personalities that we have recently interview at the Life sites including a range of personalities from Mark Maassel to Spiros Batistatos, and we had some laughs about the variety of communication styles.  Chris has his seat buckled for an upcoming interview with Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr., and looks forward to sharing more insights learned in those interviews on upcoming shows.
