Networking in a New Age: Rittenhouse Village at Valparaiso Connects with Community at Seniorplicity Presentation

When it comes to taking care of our elders, the highest quality of care is of the utmost importance. This means putting an emphasis on surface level physical needs, as well as on all aspects of living a long, healthy, and fulfilling life. Rittenhouse Village at Valparaiso takes that to heart and makes it a point to make personal connections with clients through their dedicated employees who share the same vision.

Although Rittenhouse Village has always embodied that philosophy for their standard of care, they recently made strides to enhance their caregiving capabilities through Seniorplicity, an online community software designed to connect organizations and consumers from all aspects of the senior care facilities industry.

“The idea is to make things easier for us, to make it more organized so that we can better care for our clients,” said Alexis Pozdol, Senior Lifestyle Counselor at Rittenhouse Village. “We care for a lot of people and it requires a lot of different aspects. This is something that connects us to everyone and everything we need.”

Robert Foster IV, Owner and President of Seniorplicity, has been working with Pozdol since October of 2018 and was asked to present what they are doing to the community caregivers of Northwest Indiana.

“Rittenhouse Village surrounds themselves with quality service providers that can help them with all of their needs,” said Foster. “It all starts with who they work with, and I’m happy to be able to help further Rittenhouse Village’s mission through their use of this new platform.”

“This is the next generation of websites that connect people together, and I wanted to share that with other members involved in the industry. I’m hoping that everyone who came out today to support Rittenhouse knows that this is something that can help them to connect and market better,” said Pozdol. “That is why it is really important for Robert to be here today because one of the most important things in marketing and networking is social media.”

With senior care, it is all about making personal connections and finding the right people with a passion for the job. Rittenhouse Village at Valparaiso’s use of Seniorplicity allows them to do find those connections better than ever before.

“We’re using this program to find the dedicated people we need, people that take the time to help us help others and do it right,” continued Pozdol. “That’s why this is so important for us, and we want to share that with the community.”
