School Town of Munster Presents First International Festival

Munster-International-Festival-2012The School Town of Munster will be hosting its first annual Munster International Festival on Sunday, May 20, 2012, from 12-5pm at Munster High School.

This event will be held at Munster High School in the Fieldhouse and Auditorium. Admission will be free but all other purchases (food and/or souvenirs) will be sold in $1 increments. Tickets can be purchased before the event to avoid long lines at the door. There will be activities, photo opportunities, performances, passport booths, food and beverages available at the event. The Festival plans to promote peace and understanding through displays of literature, costumes and cultural items, plus the sale of food and gifts, along with dance and music performances with participants representing a variety of nationalities, ethnicities, cultures and international organizations.

Students (K-12) are invited to join us on Sunday the 20th between 12:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Munster High School is located at 8808 Columbia Av (Columbia Av just south of Ridge Road).
