On August 15th the Boy Scouts of America went to a ballgame they'll never forget!
It was "Scouting Day" at the Steel Yard and after the Railcats game about 300 people got to pitch their tents and spend the night in the outfield. There was food, drinks and s'mores (even a movie was shown on the jumbotron) after the game. Some of the scouts even got to meet the players, including Rookie Pitcher, Tom Thornton (pictured below).
Chase and Trevor Brandt are two Valparaiso boys who (as shown here with their Dad, Steve), had a great time at the outing.
