Leading the Charge to Change is a free one-day conference that will bring together leaders from across Indiana - city and agency decision makers, business executives, car dealerships, citizens, and interested parties - to explore best practices and innovative solutions for the deployment of plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs).
Panel topics include the following:
- Developing the EV technology in Northern Indiana
- Creating a charging infrastructure for NIPSCO's In-Charge EV Program
- Enhancing public EV engagement with EV drive experiences
- Strategies for commercial fleet electrification
- The Northern Indiana visions for supporting EV cities
South Shore Clean Cities, NIPSCO and other representatives will spend time speaking about the benefits of owning an EV, eligibility to receive a credit of up to $1,650 for a residential charging station, and other EV development in and around Northern Indiana.
A continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.
