Valparaiso International Center’s 4th Friday Series: The Arab Spring

The Valparaiso International Center (the VIC) is hosting a free presentation discussing the many revolutions throughout the Middle East including: Yemen, Syria, Tunisia and Egypt. The featured speaker, Imam Mongy El-Quesny, recently returned from a three month trip to the Middle East and will report on his personal experiences with the revolutions sweeping across the region. Imam Mongy El-Quesny, is a prominent Egyptian/American Imam that serves at the Northwest Indiana Islamic Center. The event is Friday the 24th at 7pm, at the VIC (309 E. Lincolnway Valparaiso, IN) for some engaging conversation about revolution in Egypt and the broader Middle East.

 

About the VIC: The Valparaiso International Center (The VIC) is an independent nonprofit organization that is located in downtown Valparaiso, yet serves all of Northwest Indiana.
